Biloxi rules for moving trucks, trailers and containers.
Key rule: In Biloxi, heavy trucks (more than two axles or over 20,000 pounds gross vehicle weight), trailers with more than one axle, and boats, campers or RVs may not be parked on public rights-of-way in a residential district for more than four days in a calendar year.
In Biloxi, the Land Development Ordinance allows a portable shipping container to serve an existing home for up to 30 consecutive days per calendar year, kept at least ten feet from any lot line (location rules don't apply to lots without alleys or with 50 feet of frontage or less). Heavy trucks with more than two axles or over 20,000 pounds, multi-axle trailers and major recreational equipment are limited to four days a year on residential rights-of-way, though the ordinance says it does not aim to stop occasional parking for loading or unloading. Boats, campers and RVs belong beside or behind the house, and a camper-type trailer may not stay on a city street longer than 12 hours.

Biloxi moving questions
Can I have a portable storage container at my Biloxi home?
Yes. The Land Development Ordinance allows temporary storage in a portable shipping container to serve an existing residential use. It must be at least ten feet from any lot line and can stay no more than 30 consecutive days per site per calendar year. The location rules don't apply to lots without alleys or with 50 feet of frontage or less.
How long can a large truck or trailer stay on a residential street in Biloxi?
Heavy trucks (more than two axles or over 20,000 pounds gross vehicle weight), trailers with more than one axle, and boats, campers or RVs may not be parked on public rights-of-way in a residential district for more than four days in a calendar year. The ordinance says it is not meant to stop occasional or temporary parking needed for loading, unloading or cleaning.
Does a rental moving truck count as a heavy truck in Biloxi?
The rule applies to trucks with more than two axles or over 20,000 pounds gross vehicle weight. The ordinance does not name rental trucks, so it depends on the truck's axles and weight.
Can I leave a camper or travel trailer on the street overnight in Biloxi?
A mobile home or camper-type trailer may not be parked on city streets for longer than 12 hours, and boats, campers and RVs must be kept to the side or rear of the dwelling.
