A crew loads your PODS-style container tight from floor to ceiling so nothing shifts in transit. They can also unload it at your new home.

Labor only. You rent the truck, trailer or container and drive it. The crew lifts, carries, loads and unloads. If you need help at two addresses, each one is booked separately.

How to prepare

Check where the container can legally sit. Many cities require a permit for streets and sidewalks.
Pack and seal everything in sturdy boxes, since containers get moved around in transit
Leave a clear, level path from the door to the container
Have the lock ready before the crew finishes

What affects time and price

Labor is priced by time and crew size. We haven't published rates, minimums or fees yet. This list shows what changes the number of hours.

Container size and countMultiple containers mean more trips and more careful planning.
Distance to the containerA container in the driveway is quick. One down the street takes longer.
Load densityA tight, braced container load takes longer than a loose truck load.

Specialty and heavy items

Very heavy items can be hard to place and brace safely inside a container. Pianos and safes in particular should be reviewed before you choose this option.

We check pianos, safes, gym equipment, pool tables, hot tubs and anything over about 300 lb one at a time. Some may need a specialist.

Questions about container moves

Do you work with a particular container company?

No. Book whichever container company suits you. The crew only does the loading and unloading labor.

My container is going to another state. Can the same crew unload it?

Not usually. The two addresses are separate appointments. Plan each address in the planner. We can only help at the new address if we serve that area.

Does the container need a permit on my street?

In many cities, yes. The rules vary, so check your city's right-of-way or street-use permit page before delivery.
