Pearl rules for moving trucks, trailers and containers.
Key rule: In Pearl, a portable storage unit must be placed on the home's driveway at least 10 feet from the curb and may not stay more than 30 calendar days.
Pearl's zoning ordinance lets a portable storage unit sit on a home's driveway, at least 10 feet from the curb, for up to 30 calendar days, with one unit of no more than 130 square feet per residential site, kept locked when not being loaded. The traffic code bars parking, storing or leaving vehicles and trailers on streets within 500 feet of residentially zoned property, enforced after a written complaint, and limits unattended commercial vehicles, defined as vehicles used mainly to transport property, to two hours on a public street. Cars can't sit in a residential yard off the driveway for more than 8 consecutive hours.
