Hobbs bans parking heavy trucks, defined as Class 7 or larger with a gross vehicle weight rating over 26,000 pounds, and trailers longer than 20 feet (not counting the tongue) on any public street, which includes the shoulder, curb, sidewalk, parkway and right-of-way. Temporary parking for loading, unloading, pick-ups, deliveries or services is not prohibited.
