Oklahoma City rules for moving trucks, trailers and containers.
Key rule: In Oklahoma City, no vehicle wider than seven feet or longer than 24 feet may be parked on a residential street between 8:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m., except in an emergency and for the time needed to load and unload.
In Oklahoma City, the municipal code bars vehicles over seven feet wide or 24 feet long from parking on residential streets between 8:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m., apart from emergencies and the time needed to load and unload, and that rule applies even where no sign is posted. Nothing may be left on a street, sidewalk or public way that obstructs it unless an ordinance or a revocable permit from the Director allows it, and rental companies may not leave rented property in the right-of-way without a revocable permit. The city sounds outdoor warning sirens for tornado warnings, has no all-clear signal, and does not have public tornado shelters.
