Florence rules for moving trucks, trailers and containers.
Key rule: In Florence, trucks and other vehicles more than 20 feet long may not park on any street within a business district, and outside a business district they may park only alongside the curb.
In Florence, the city code bars trucks, buses and other vehicles over 20 feet long from parking on business-district streets and limits them to curbside parking elsewhere, while a vehicle may stay backed up to a curb only long enough to load or unload. Recreational vehicles and travel trailers are limited to five consecutive hours a day on public streets, loading-zone stops are capped at 30 minutes, and vehicles may not be parked between the curb line and the property line. Closing or interfering with the free use of a street, sidewalk or alley requires city council's consent in advance.
