Key rule: In Eagle Pass, motor trucks, trailers and other transport apparatus designed to carry freight, merchandise and materials that are longer than 15 feet may not be driven, parked or left standing on a public street or private premises in a residential district, except as another code provision allows.
Eagle Pass's traffic code bars freight-carrying trucks, trailers and similar transport apparatus longer than 15 feet from being driven, parked or left standing on streets or private premises in residential districts unless another code provision allows it, and vehicles parked in violation on a public street can be removed and impounded. Those vehicles are required to park, load and unload from the alley entrance where practicable, the police chief can issue special permits to back a vehicle to the curb for loading, and freight loading-zone stops are capped at 30 minutes.
