Lake Stevens rules for moving trucks, trailers and containers.
Key rule: In Lake Stevens, reserving any part of the roadway for parking to the exclusion of others is unlawful without an approved city permit.
Lake Stevens makes it unlawful to reserve roadway space for parking without a city permit, requires a right-of-way permit from the Public Works Director for work in the right-of-way, and limits any vehicle to 72 hours unmoved on a street. Trucks over 20,000 pounds gross weight are kept to truck routes except for local pickup and delivery by the shortest route, and owners may park across their own short driveway. In snow, priority arterial routes come first and other streets are serviced only if those are cleared.
