Superior rules for moving trucks, trailers and containers.
Key rule: In Superior, trucks, trailers, buses and recreation vehicles over 10,000 pounds gross weight, over 16 feet long or with an enclosed area more than eight feet high may not park on any street from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., except for the actual loading or unloading of goods.
In Superior, trucks, trailers and recreation vehicles over 10,000 pounds, over 16 feet long or with an enclosed area more than eight feet high may not park on city streets from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., though lawful parking for the actual loading or unloading of goods is allowed. Street parking follows a weekly alternate-side (calendar) system that changes over between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Sundays, and parking is banned on snow emergency routes during a declared snow emergency. Obstructions in the street that are not under a Director of Public Works permit are nuisances the city can remove without notice at the owner's cost, and a sidewalk obstruction permit from the city clerk runs for up to three days and requires insurance naming the city.
