Aliso Viejo bars detached trailers of any size from public streets except for up to two hours of loading or unloading. Oversized vehicles, which include any vehicle over 24 feet long or 10,000 pounds, may not park overnight from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. or for more than 12 hours in the day on two consecutive days, unless they are actively loading or unloading. Placing any object in the public way needs an encroachment permit from the director of public works, and no vehicle may stay on a street for more than 72 hours.
