Paducah rules for moving trucks, trailers and containers.
Key rule: In Paducah, it is unlawful to obstruct a street, sidewalk, parking space or public way by stopping, standing or parking a semitrailer, cart, wagon or other vehicle there.
Paducah's traffic code makes it unlawful to obstruct a street, sidewalk, parking space or public way with a semitrailer, cart, wagon or other vehicle, and police may have such vehicles removed and impounded. A motor truck pulling a semitrailer or trailer may use only designated truck routes except for pickups, deliveries or service calls done expeditiously, and the code limits parking trucks, semitrailers and trailers within 50 feet of an occupied home. On designated residential permit streets every parked vehicle needs a permit, though delivery vehicles are exempt and city officials may authorize temporary permits for other vehicles.
