In Bangor, on-street parking follows alternate sides: the even-numbered side on even-numbered days and the odd-numbered side on odd-numbered days. When Public Works calls a City-wide Parking Ban (Snow Clearing Order), all vehicles must move off the street, and designated municipal lots are open from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m. On streets posted against trailers, towed trailers may not pass through except for residents' own trailers or trailers making deliveries to residents, and vehicles may not park on sidewalks or esplanades.
