Neptune Township bars trailers, RVs, boats, buses and truck cabs, plus other vehicles over size limits in the code, from its streets except while actually loading, unloading or making pick-ups or deliveries. A portable storage unit on private property needs a permit from the Director of Code Enforcement, may stay up to 30 days and belongs on vacant land or in a side or back yard; front-yard or street placement needs a hardship permit costing $100 for residential properties, and in Ocean Grove such containers can't sit in a public area on summer weekends. During a snow emergency, no vehicle, dumpster or roll-off may park on the even-numbered side of streets outside Ocean Grove.

Outside Ocean Grove, the snow-emergency parking ban, which covers vehicles, dumpsters and roll-off containers, applies to the side of every street with even-numbered addresses.
