West Orange rules for moving trucks, trailers and containers.
Key rule: In West Orange, no one may park a vehicle on any street between 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., except on streets the township code lists as exceptions.
West Orange bans parking on any street from 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. except on listed streets, so a rented truck can't be left at the curb overnight on most blocks. A portable storage container at a home needs a permit, may stay up to 30 days, must go on the driveway where possible, and can never sit in the front yard or the public right-of-way. Listed streets also have a November 15 to April 15 winter parking ban and a no-parking rule once snow covers the road.
