Key rule: In Orange, commercial vehicles, which the code defines to include any vehicle with commercial plates or business information on it or weighing over 10,000 pounds, may not park on any street between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m.
The City of Orange Township bars commercial vehicles, defined by commercial plates, business information or a weight over 10,000 pounds, from parking on any street between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m., and bars large commercial vehicles over 10,000 pounds from residential areas at any time except while loading or unloading. A roll-off container on a city street needs written permission from the Police and Fire Departments before applying to Public Works, and the fee schedule lists on-street dumpster permits at $200 for 30 days. When snow covers the street, parking is banned on both sides of the listed snow emergency streets until they are plowed.
