Key rule: In Orchard Park, trucks with a total gross weight over 10,000 pounds are restricted on Town residential roads, except for local delivery or pickup of merchandise or other property.
These rules come from the Town of Orchard Park government's Town Code; the Village of Orchard Park, inside the town, has its own code. Trucks over 10,000 pounds total gross weight are restricted on Town residential roads, though not on State or Erie County highways, except for local delivery or pickup. Outside the Village, Town streets are a restricted parking district from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. between November 1 and April 1, and vehicles that block snow removal during posted restrictions may be towed. Keeping more than two trailers, motor homes, boats or similar vehicles on a property is limited to 48 hours, trash may go out no earlier than 3 p.m. the day before collection, and loud and excessive noise while loading or unloading a vehicle is a listed prohibited noise.
