Cedar City rules for moving trucks, trailers and containers.

Key rule: In Cedar City, a vehicle or trailer 35 feet or longer may not park on a residential street, except while it is being used to deliver or remove household furniture at a specific home or building.

Cedar City bars vehicles, trailers and vehicle-trailer combinations 35 feet or longer from parking on residential streets, with exceptions for delivering or removing household furniture and for loading or unloading a camper, boat, trailer or RV within 24 hours. Obstructing a street, alley or sidewalk needs City Council consent, and closing a street needs the City Manager's consent. Southern Utah University's spring 2027 residence-hall check-ins are January 2 for incoming first-year students and January 3 for returning students.
