Milwaukee rules for moving trucks, trailers and containers.
Key rule: In Milwaukee, there is no parking on city streets from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Saturday without a night parking permit or temporary night parking permission, and large trucks and trailers are not eligible for that free permission.
In Milwaukee, parking on city streets between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. Monday through Saturday needs a night parking permit or free temporary night parking permission, which is limited to 3 nights in 30 days and is not available for commercial trucks, larger motor trucks or trailers. Heavy traffic of 3 tons and over is barred from residential districts except on certain highways, and a business that places a dumpster in the street on a temporary basis must get the city permit.
