Sanger rules for moving trucks, trailers and containers.
Key rule: In Sanger, commercial vehicles with a manufacturer's gross vehicle weight rating of 10,000 pounds or more, and trailers, may not be parked in residential districts, except for commercial vehicles making pickups or deliveries to a building on the street.
Sanger's code keeps commercial vehicles rated at 10,000 pounds or more, and trailers, out of residential districts, with an exception for commercial vehicles making pickups or deliveries on the street. A trailer detached from its towing vehicle can't be left on any public street, and recreational vehicles, a term that includes trailers in this section, may sit in a driveway for loading and unloading for up to 72 hours a month. Any encroachment on the public right-of-way needs an encroachment permit, and vehicles left on a street 72 hours or more can be removed.
