In Rexburg, City Code Section 10.09.010 bars leaving a vehicle, boat, trailer or other item on any street for more than 48 hours, and motor homes, boats and trailers re-parked on the same block face within 24 hours count as continuously parked. Overnight street parking is banned from December 15 through March 1 regardless of the weather, with a winter overnight permit lot west of Rexburg Rapids for the 2026-27 season. Marked time-restricted areas have no parking from 2 a.m. to 7 a.m. year-round, and University (U) permits are required on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the campus permit zones.
