In Oak Lawn, the village code bars large vehicles such as box trucks and cube vans from village streets from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m., and the same overnight ban covers residential driveways and setbacks. Snow rules start at 1 inch: posted snow routes must be cleared and alternate-side rules apply on other streets, and parking is banned outright during a declared snow removal emergency.
