Farragut rules for moving trucks, trailers and containers.
Key rule: In Farragut, no trailer or major recreational equipment may be parked or stored on any public street, greenway, trail, walking path or public property.
Farragut's property-maintenance code keeps trailers and major recreational equipment off public streets entirely and out of residential front yards, except on an approved surface for up to 48 hours of loading or unloading. A home's owner or occupant may keep a shipping/storage container, such as a portable moving container, or a large garbage container on the premises for up to 30 consecutive days, and the code bars placing those containers on streets, sidewalks or other public property. Vehicles parked on a street must leave at least ten feet of roadway open.
