Mission rules for moving trucks, trailers and containers.
Key rule: In Mission, trailers may not be parked on residential or collector streets, but the code's trailer definition for that rule excludes a trailer used to move, such as a U-Haul, for up to five calendar days.
Mission bars trailers, semitrailers, truck-tractors and buses from residential and collector streets and from residentially zoned property, but for that rule a trailer used to move, such as a U-Haul, is excluded for up to five calendar days, and temporary loading or unloading does not count as parking. Vehicles wider than 80 inches may stop on residential streets only temporarily to load or unload, street parking is limited to 30 minutes between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. with an exception for overnight guests who have no driveway, and the traffic safety coordinator can issue special parking permits for unusual parking.
