Parkersburg rules for moving trucks, trailers and containers.
Key rule: In Parkersburg, a truck more than 96 inches wide or 96 inches tall, including its load, may not be parked or left unattended on a city street for more than two hours.
Parkersburg's traffic code limits a truck more than 96 inches wide or tall, load included, to two hours parked or unattended on a city street, and a trailer more than 48 inches wide or 96 inches tall to the same two hours. In the central traffic district no vehicle may be parked longer than 30 minutes between 2 and 6 a.m., alley parking must leave ten feet clear and not block driveways, and the Chief of Police issues permits to back a vehicle to the curb for loading and to block off a street. Residents on time-limited residential streets without enough off-street parking can get a $10 residential parking sticker that exempts them from overtime tickets.
