In Imperial Beach, commercial vehicles over 10,000 pounds, trailers, semitrailers, boats and boat trailers are banned from residential streets except for a reasonable period while loading or unloading property, and a recreational vehicle (which includes trailers) may not stay on any street for more than 48 hours. Vehicles may not stop or park on a parkway or sidewalk, no vehicle may stay on a street for more than 72 consecutive hours, and storing personal property on a street, sidewalk or right-of-way is unlawful. Disturbing construction and building-work noise is restricted from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on weekdays, 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. on Saturdays, and all day on Sundays and federal holidays.
