How do I reserve street parking for a moving truck in San Francisco?
Apply to the SFMTA's Temporary Signage program through its online portal or by calling 311. The SFMTA provides temporary tow-away signs for moving vans and asks for at least 5 business days between applying and the first day of enforcement.
What hours can a San Francisco moving-sign reservation cover?

Can a storage container be dropped off in the evening in San Francisco?
Not in residential areas between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.; Public Works says containers can't be delivered, placed or removed then.
