Key rule: In Bridgewater, heavy commercial vehicles with a carrying capacity of more than 2½ tons are restricted 24 hours a day on certain named town streets.

Bridgewater's Town Code restricts heavy commercial vehicles with a carrying capacity over 2½ tons on certain named streets around the clock, and lets the town move vehicles when that is needed for snow plowing or ice removal. Snow can't be pushed into a sidewalk or town way, vehicles other than hand-pushed child carriages aren't allowed on sidewalks, and temporary project dumpsters are exempt from the dumpster screening rule.
