Tooele rules for moving trucks, trailers and containers.
Key rule: In Tooele, no vehicle may be parked on any public right-of-way while snow is falling on it or when any amount of snow or ice has accumulated on the right-of-way.
Tooele bans parking on any public right-of-way while snow is falling on the vehicle or whenever snow or ice has built up there; the old 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. winter time restriction was dropped in 2020. Vehicles can't sit in a public right-of-way for more than 48 hours, can't park between the curb and the property line, and trucks over 19,000 pounds or rated 1.5 tons or more may park only on designated truck routes. Vehicles, boxes or other obstructions in the street need the mayor's permission, and the code bars dumpsters and storage containers from the street right-of-way during nearby construction.
