Boulder's right-of-way permit covers PODs and storage units for up to 10 days, and moving trucks using a special activity permit must show the contract between the moving company and the customer. Applications are due at least five business days ahead, and reserved-space signs go up 24 hours ahead in paid areas or 72 hours in unpaid ones. Trailers and motor homes face street-parking limits, and households in neighborhood permit zones can assign free day passes up to two weeks ahead.
