Antioch rules for moving trucks, trailers and containers.
Key rule: In Antioch, trucks rated over one ton and used for commercial purposes, and trailers used the same way, may not park in a residential district except while loading, unloading or rendering service.
Antioch's traffic code keeps commercial trucks rated over one ton, and their trailers, out of residential districts except while loading, unloading or rendering service. Recreational vehicles, a category the code defines to include utility trailers and empty trailers, may park on a residential street only while actively being loaded, unloaded, cleaned or repaired, for up to 24 hours, unless the owner gets a free 72-hour permit from the Police Department. No vehicle may stay on a street for more than 72 hours, and leaving an obstruction in the right-of-way requires an encroachment permit.
