Key rule: In Westminster, a truck with a gross vehicle weight rating over 11,000 pounds can't be parked on any public street.

Westminster's code bars parking trucks (vehicles over 11,000 pounds GVWR with a cargo body) on any public street, and any vehicle 35 feet or longer may park on the street only to load or unload. Trailers under 35 feet are limited to 72 hours in any seven-day period. Right-of-way permits go only to licensed, bonded and insured Public Way Contractors, so a resident usually can't pull one directly, and residential streets are plowed only after more than 8 inches of snow.
