In Carrollton, city code bars parking a commercial vehicle on any residential public street unless it is actively and expeditiously loading or unloading, and separately bars parking trucks, trailers and other commercial motor vehicles over one-ton capacity on public streets except in limited cases such as designated loading zones while delivering. The code also bars obstructing any street, sidewalk or right-of-way with items such as boxes, and lists loud business loading or unloading operations within 500 feet of homes between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. as unlawful noise.
