Fate rules for moving trucks, trailers and containers.
Key rule: In Fate, a portable storage container (POD) for a move must sit on the driveway at the point furthest from the street, and it cannot be placed on the public right-of-way or on front-yard grass.
Fate's development code allows temporary storage containers (PODs) for residential moving, but only on the driveway at the point furthest from the street, never in the right-of-way or on front-yard grass, and a residential lot is limited to two PODs at a time, twice a year, for up to 20 consecutive days each time. Trailers, motor homes, RVs and vehicles over 8,500 pounds gross weight are barred from parking in the right-of-way, with an exemption for vehicles making deliveries or services that park no more than four hours a day. Outdoor power equipment in residential zones is restricted overnight.
