Parking and permits

Azusa rules for moving trucks, trailers and containers.

Key rule: In Azusa, an oversized vehicle (over 23 feet long, 80 inches wide or 96 inches tall) may not be parked on a street for more than 60 minutes between 6 a.m. and 2 a.m., or more than 30 minutes between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m., unless it is making pickups or deliveries to the adjacent building.

Azusa limits oversized vehicles, defined as anything over 23 feet long, 80 inches wide or 96 inches tall, to 60 minutes on the street during the day and 30 minutes overnight, with an exception while making pickups or deliveries to the adjacent building. Detached trailers may not be left on any street, and placing material or another obstruction in the street or public right-of-way needs a permit from the city engineer. The police department issues free temporary permits for commercial and oversized vehicles, and street sweeping restrictions have no permit exemption.
