Harrison rules for moving trucks, trailers and containers.
Key rule: In Harrison, oversized vehicles, defined as more than 21 feet long or more than eight feet wide, may not be parked on any residential highway.
Harrison is a coterminous town and village run by a single Town/Village government; these rules come from its Village Code (Chapter 38, Vehicles and Traffic) and the Town Clerk's residential parking pages. Oversized vehicles, meaning more than 21 feet long or more than eight feet wide, can't park on residential highways, commercial vehicles can't park on streets or in municipal lots from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., and no vehicle may stay on a highway more than 24 hours. Parking is barred during snowstorms and other emergencies, and downtown residents with permits are exempt from the two- and four-hour limits on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
